The University Administration wants to make it difficult for you to get a raise. If you work with children or the community, they want your wages to stay at poverty levels. They want to go back to the popularity contest that used to determine our raises.
We’ve told the Administration NO to all of these unjust proposals But the dozen or so members on the bargaining committee have been saying NO for almost a year and it’s time we brought in some new voices; if the University isn’t hearing what our committee has been saying, we need to amplify our message!
On Monday, May 7, 12:30pm – 1:00pm, JOIN US at the Illinois Fire Service Institute, 11 Gerty Dr, to “welcome” the Administration’s Bargaining Committee and to let them know that we won’t accept their insulting proposals and that we DEMAND a FAIR CONTRACT!
